NWCS 30th Anniversary Celebration & Graduation Ceremony Concludes Successfully!

On June 14, 2025, Northwest Chinese School (NWCS) proudly celebrated its 30th Anniversary and Graduation Ceremony, marking a milestone filled with deep meaning. The event was filled with warmth as students, parents, and teachers gathered to reflect on the school’s remarkable journey and look forward to an even brighter future. Together, we offered our sincerest blessings to this community that has nurtured generations of dreams.
We were honored to welcome five founders of NWCS as special guests at the event. From left to right, they are: Haibo He (Director of Administration), Xiaping Qiu (Treasurer), Susu Ji (Board Member), Yusong Cao (Founding Board Chair), and Chongyuan Mei (Founding Principal).

As the founders shared their stories, the audience was moved by their vivid memories of the school’s humble beginnings 30 years ago—the hard work of placing flyers in every mailbox across Bellevue, personally driving to pick up students and teachers, and staying up until midnight for Friday meetings. These touching recollections reignited everyone’s deep commitment to Chinese education. Mr. Yusong Cao emphasized that the successful founding of NWCS was built on shared confidence, teamwork, and the unwavering support of their spouses behind the scenes.
The event featured wonderful student performances, showcasing talents from singing and poetry recitation to traditional erhu music and children’s folk songs. The audience was treated to a vibrant display of Chinese culture and heritage.
